The 15080BK-191 is a Gold Class version of the modern classic Crooked River folding knife from Benchmade Knives HUNT Line. The Crooked River takes the classic lines of the clip point hunter and delivers them with modern performance. Blade: Just about 4 inches of premium USA Made CPM-20CV stainless steel is executed in a classic, utilitarian Clip Point profile. This gives the user a bit of an upswept tip great for skinning, slicing and piercing tasks. It has a straight plain edge with ambidextrous thumb studs for deployment. A blade Diamond-Like Carbon or DLC coating offers a durable, corrosion resistant and discreet finish. It locks up rock solid using Benchmade’s patented AXIS® Locking mechanism for right or left handed users.

Handle: The great ergonomics of the Crooked River are perfect for extended cutting but this Gold Class is a show piece with Vinland pattern Damasteel bolsters and Unidirectional Carbon Fiber scales over hand polished and jeweled liners along with a blue “Cracked Ice” titanium backspacer. The construction is rounded out with sapphire blue PVD pivot ring and hardware.

Carries via a reversible (tip-up) titanium split-arrow with blue anodized “Cracked Ice” finish.

CPM 20CV: CPM 20CV is a highly wear resistant, powder metallurgy stainless tool steel, an analog to Bohler’s M390, and offers some of the best corrosion resistance and wear resistance in combination with a relative ease of sharpening. These properties along with a working hardness in the low 60s HRC make 20CV a prime choice among custom and production makers.
