The Sebenza 31 is not a completely new model, but rather an update to the time-tested and proven design of the classic Sebenza 21. The Sebenza 31 has updated features including: Ceramic Ball Interface from the Umnumzaan/Inkosi, off-set clip design, improved ergonomics, removal of the fixture hole on front handle, re-designed inlays (select models) and tighter tolerances thanks to improved machining processes. Sebenza means “work” in Zulu and which the model 31 will see thanks to the enduring heirloom build quality. This Large version comes with a Chad Nichols Stainless Raindrop Damascus drop point blade and blasted titanium handles with black canvas Micarta inlays.

Blade: The large Sebenza 31 delivers just under three inches of polished, shaving sharp cutting edge on the Raindrop Damascus drop point blade. The deep hollow grind offers exceptional slicing performance and extended life through sharpening and use. Etched to showcase the stunning Raindrop pattern of the pattern welded layers, the Damascus blade has a jimped thumb ramp for traction and custom-feel smooth crowned spine. A single silver titanium thumb lug allows the right-handed user to open and operate the blade easily. It moves on an oversize bronze washer pivot with grease-filled pockets for a smooth, hydraulic operation.

Handle: The dual slabs of 6AL4V titanium are inlaid with black canvas Micarta. The front inlay is a large, single piece providing a sleek yet rugged look and enhanced traction. Delivering “bank vault” lockup, the Reeve Integral Lock is cut right from the titanium frame with an upgraded Ceramic Ball Interface for increased reliability and lock life in addition to smooth operation. Construction is completed with full titanium hardware including a silver spacer and lanyard pin. Includes an installed black nylon lanyard, tube of fluorinated grease, microfiber cloth and information packet.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up, off-set titanium pocket clip.
