Blade: The intimidating Hellhound tanto blade combines powerful cutting performance with an aggressive look. Premium Damascus blade steel was chosen for its beautiful, striking look. Adding to the custom feel is the familiar Hellhound-grooved spine leading to the visually striking, upswept, false edge tip. The blade is acid etched to bring out the pattern in the layered steel. It deploys via a dual action automatic mechanism. Simply press the thumb slide up to open and then back down to close. Simple, fast and smooth.

Handle: Smooth, black coated 6061-T6 aluminum has rounded edges creating a comfortable feel in-hand and smooth transition in and out of your pocket. The UTX-70 is more slim than the Ultratech or UTX-85 allowing it to be carried in a watch pocket or shirt pocket as well as via the clip. The handle’s construction is completed with Microtech’s proprietary Bronzed hardware, glass breaker end and pocket clip with logo/signature/date of production. 

Damascus: Damascus offers the performance of a modern steel while delivering a unique look from the pattern welded layers and acid etched finish. Available in multiple patterns, Damascus gives a knife a striking and singular look.
