Protech knives has teamed up with Strider to offer an American made automatic version of the classic Strider SnG. The Pro-Strider SnG auto is a high quality collaboration that brings the best things from the SnG design and Protech’s manufacturing to a single knife. An American made automatic with an iconic design and premium production, the Pro-Strider SNG is built on a frame of Black hard anodized 7075 Aluminum, super tough and lightweight, supporting a smooth Rafir Noble top and housing a Chad Nichols “Boomerang” pattern Stainless Damascus blade in this Custom Limited Edition run.

Blade: The iconic SnG drop point design is made from Nichols Stainless Damascus that offers the ease of maintenance and performance of a modern stainless steel with the unparalleled style of classic, pattern welded Damascus. The mid-height saber grind offers a good mix of strength and slicing performance that is a perfect fit with the Strider design. The blade deploys smooth and fast via a Mosaic Pin inlaid button which operates the coil spring mechanism.

Handle: The classic Strider handle design is retained and made from super tough 7075 aluminum with a black, Class III, military grade hard anodization. The standard aluminum top has been replaced with smooth Rafir Noble, a metal mesh and translucent resin composite, on this Custom Limited Edition for a striking look and warm in hand feel. This handle is secure and comfortable in a variety of grip positions and helps to keep the weight of this knife under 5 oz. Construction is finished with beautifully satin finished hardware. Simple and robust the button lock mechanism is reliable and easy to operation even in gloves.

Nichols Stainless Damascus: Stainless Damascus offers the performance of a modern stainless steel while delivering a unique look from the pattern welded layers and acid etched finish. Available in multiple patterns, stainless Damascus gives a knife a striking and singular look. Nichols Damascus is composed of AEB-L and 304 delivering excellent corrosion resistance and toughness with good hardness for edge retention.
