A smaller version of designer Brian Nadeau’s popular Tempest, the Mini Tempest offers the same clean lines and flawless build quality in a more compact package ideal for daily carry. This version comes with a Damasteel Bowie style clip point blade, black PVD coated titanium and Gold Dark Matter FatCarbon inlays.

Blade: Visually appealing Damasteel is executed in a striking Bowie style clip point with stylish fullers, high flat grind and clip point swedge for exceptional performance. Ceramic bearings with ​hardened races paired with the SBD Integral detent provide for an exceptionally smooth and snappy deployment that will last. Jimping on the spine provides plenty of traction and extends to the front flipper tab for positive traction when opening. When open the flipper is cleanly hidden in the handle allowing the knife to retain a sleek look.

Handle: Contoured and black PVD coated titanium slabs form the handle supporting stunning Gold Matter carbon fiber inlays and forming a reliable and rock solid integral frame lock. A hardened steel lock face makes for smooth operation and long term reliability and includes the SBD Integral detent detailed below. The minimalist handle design is ergonomic in a variety of grips and secure in the hand without the need for aggressive texture making it fast in the hand. Satin finished hardware rounds on the construction.

Carries via a right-hand milled titanium pocket clip.

SBD Integral Detent: A protrusion or nub extending from the steel insert fits into a pocket milled in the blade. This provides tension for deployment while being noticeably smoother in operation compared to a standard ball detent.

Damasteel: A high hardness, high corrosion resistant steel that combines two martensitic stainless steels – RWL34 and PMC27 – in unique patterns that, when etched, create the designs seen on the blade. Damasteel delivers a blade that is very eye-catching and has performance in the realm of RWL34, similar to CPM154.
