This collaborative effort features Bill Harsey’s signature styling combined with premium materials and Spartan’s precision fit and finish. Comfortable in-hand and ready for hard use this version features a Nichols Damascus blade, anodized titanium handles and deep, elaborate engravings: a bejeweled Mayan Calendar graphic on the front and a Mayan head glyph on the reverse in a blue over bronze anodized finish.

Blade: A classic, utilitarian drop point blade is made from Nichols stainless Damascus with a top swedge and high saber grind for balanced performance and durability. The pattern welded Damascus is etched to bring out the unique pattern for an eye-catching look. Riding on reliable bronze washers the blade deploys fast and smooth via dual titanium thumb studs. Aggressive jimping on the thumb ramp offers added traction and a point for indexing.

Handle:  Ergonomic handles have been constructed from custom anodized 6AL4V titanium with deep engraved graphics, fire stone inlays and a Spartan engraved clip insert. Titanium barrel spacers, handle screws and custom pivot complete the construction. The back titanium slab forms an integral frame lock mechanism for reliable lock-up in hard use conditions with internal lock-bar stabilizer.

Nichols Stainless Damascus: Stainless Damascus offers the performance of a modern stainless steel while delivering a unique look from the pattern welded layers and acid etched finish. Available in multiple patterns, stainless Damascus gives a knife a striking and singular look. Nichols Damascus is composed of AEB-L and 304 delivering excellent corrosion resistance and toughness with good hardness for edge retention.
